Planets in Astrology are fundamental forces of the Universe. They manifest always and everywhere, and their principles are universal. If we understand these principles and learn to recognize them, we gain the key to managing reality. This also means that the outward appearance of events will not be able to mislead us. We will be able to correctly evaluate the situation: to see it as it truly is and to take actions that are adequate to the reality.
A grim but real example with Pluto
What does this mean in practice? Imagine the following situation: a frightened son suddenly shows up at the doorstep of his parents’ home. He declares that he urgently needs 20 million, the mafia is after him, and his life (and now the life of his parents as well) is in danger. It sounds like the plot of some film, but this is an absolutely real story. All of its participants perceive it through the filter of their worldview, experience, and emotions. And each interprets it in their own way, in accordance with the possibilities of their conceptual models. The essential point here is that the life and well-being of the family are at stake. And the actions of the participants depend on how they understand the situation.
Astrology offers the keys — the precise and deep description of what is happening. Namely — the manifestation of the Plutonian principle. It is absolutely clear that in this family a process of deep transformation and purification has been set in motion. And its outcome will depend on how correctly the participants of our story understand this. Specifically: what and how must be purified, what must be destroyed, and what will move into a new form for itself. Death, after all, is also transformation and a passage into a new quality (not without reason is Scorpio — the domicile of Pluto — the ruler of death). Both the danger and the incredibly large sum of money, the mafia, and the suddenness of the incident are simply markers of the fact that, in this particular family, the principle of Pluto is now at work.
Of course, we can additionally look at predictive methods. We will determine how long this period will last, what is most likely causing it, and where it will lead. We will also see the most intense and dangerous phases, which means that our family can prepare for them. But even without an astro-processor at hand, we can identify the energies of Pluto and correctly assess the deeper meaning of the processes taking place. And that’s possible only if we deeply understand the fundamental forces symbolised by planets.
Other planets
The same principle works for all other planets as well. If we understand that behind all values, attention, love, and joys stands the universal formative principle of Venus, then we will always have abundance. If we master the Lunar principle of support and nurturing, we will be able to virtuously manage our states. If we gain command of the pulsating energy of Mars, we will be able to avoid dangers and manage risks. If we realize that behind every “stroke of luck” and patronage there actually lies the deeper principle of Jupiter’s expansion, which in turn is directly connected with spirituality and ideals, it will become much easier for us to bring our intentions into reality. And so on, and so forth.
Planetary energies are fundamental. And it makes sense to learn astrology at least to be able to distinguish these energie and understand what is truly going on with you.
